Various DIY Mounting Brackets

These compact yet sturdy mounting brackets are designed for hanging paintings, frames, or decorations on narrow wooden picture frames. Depending on the number of screw holes per bracket, they are suitable for light to medium-weight objects.

The brackets have a narrow plate width of just 10 mm, making them ideal for slim frames. The included 16 mm crosshead screws are suitable for many applications, but it is important to always check whether the screw length fits your frame depth.

Mounting advice

Use a Phillips screwdriver. Mount the brackets preferably directly to the wooden frame, not just to the stretcher bars.

Always check whether the screw length is appropriate for your frame. If necessary, use longer screws of 20, 25 or 30 mm.

Load capacity per type of bracket

● 1-hole bracket: up to 5 kg

● 2-hole bracket: up to 10 kg (preferably mounted to the frame)

● 3-hole bracket: up to 20 kg (only to the frame, not the stretcher)

Tips to prevent wood splitting

✅ Do not use screws that are too thick

✅ Pre-drill using a narrow drill bit (up to 2/3 of the screw length)

✅ Screw in slowly and straight
